Assessment Measures and Data Collection

Note that most of the data linked from this page require administrator or faculty privilege to access.

MFT

MFT scores can be imported from the score sheets (MS Excel files) we get from ETS.

MFT national distribution data can be obtained from ETS as PDF files. This data needs to be entered into CSNS manually. We use this data to calculate the national rankings of our students and ourselves as an institute.

Surveys

  • Surveys on the Satisfaction of the Learning Outcomes

Surveys on the satisfaction of the learning outcomes collect input from five of our constituents - students, faculty, alumni, employers, and industry partners, on how well we achieve each learning outcome.

These surveys are conducted every year.

  • Surveys on the Importance of the Learning Outcomes

Surveys on the importance of the learning outcomes collect input from five of our constituents - students, faculty, alumni, employers, and industry partners, on how important each learning outcome is. New learning outcomes may be added and old ones may be revised based on the responses of these surveys.

These surveys are conducted every 5 years.

Each student should upload their project report to this assignment. The instructor needs to put the name of the project in the Notes field of the grade form so the project name can be shown in the project listing.
