2. Minor Features and Improvements
- Use background Loader to update config/bookmark/layer/tile data.
- Improve the speed of the initial loading of the layer data.
- Improve the responsiveness of MapActivity when the user comes back from another Activity.
- Show map legends on colored maps.
- Allow change of tile cache size in Settings.
- Improve the user-friendliness of the marker tool, e.g. "draw on map" (see the ArcGIS sample Draw Graphic Elements), or add indicators when a marker is created (e.g. show the start point after the first touch for a line marker).
- Full screen mode.
- Help. Maybe an HTML document displayed in a WebView.
- Other minor things that come up during beta testing.

Week 1
- Minimap and user-defined bookmarks (Alvaro)

Week 2
- Alvaro: minimap, then user-defined bookmarks.
- Daniel: complete current marker types, add a circle marker type (approximated by a polygon), then work on improving the user-friendliness of the marker tool.
- Eddie: complete the layer selection UI, then search.
Week 3
- Daniel: complete the marker tool with all marker types (point, line, rectangle, circle, polyline, polygon, and free-hand) and the proper ways to create different types of markers.
- Alvaro:
- Finish up minimap: fix the bugs; add the cross-hair with coordinates at the center.
- Work on user-defined bookmarks
- Eddie:
- Finish up layer UI: tablet layout; better animation of layer re-ordering; show layer description and metadata.
- Work on the search tool.
Week 4
- Alvaro: user-defined bookmarks
- Eddie: search
- Daniel: Help, About, and Settings (tile cache size, metric system, and anything else you want to add).
