Fall 2013 Weekly Tasks

Week 1

• Download and install ADT

• Complete the first 4 lessons of the Android Tutorial.

• Create an account on github.

• Create a private repository on github. (cysun)

• Get some Android books. (cysun)

  • Programming Android

  • Professional Android 4 Application Development

  • Android Design Patterns

• Please check out the Android app source code. It probably won't run without the server but at least try it and see if it compiles in ADT. Read the source code and prepare some questions for the next project meeting.

Week 2

• Make a list of the tools that have already been implemented on each platform
  • iOS app (Alvaro)
  • Android app and web app (Daniel and Eddie)
• Continue to learn Android programming
• Once the source code is available, try to compile it, run it, and understand it.

Week 3

• Compile the code, and run it on an emulator and/or a device.
• Read and understand the code.
• Start by fixing some easier problems mentioned in Eddie's email.
