The Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) at The University of Texas at Austin is currently accepting applications for our year-long graduate student fellowship program, the Frontera Computational Science Fellowship.  Frontera is the world’s most powerful academic supercomputer and this fellowship is an opportunity for graduate students to collaborate with experts in high performance computing at TACC to advance their skills. TACC is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace. We strongly encourage applicants from all backgrounds, genders, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and disability statuses to apply. Highlights of the internship include:

  • 50,000 node-hours on Frontera
  • Paid summer residence at TACC ($34,000 stipend and up to $12,000 tuition allowance + travel support for research presentations)
  • Training on the latest tools, topics, and trends in advanced computing
  • Collaboration with highly motivated researchers and graduate students
  • Networking with academic and industry professionals
  • Presentation and publication opportunities
