2020 – 2021 Graduate Student and Faculty Mentor Recognition Booklet
Last year, instruction and advising at Cal State LA were done through fully-remote modalities in response to COVID-19. Despite this, with the support of their faculty mentors, Cal State LA's graduate students engaged in rigorous research, scholarship, and creative activity (RSCA) throughout the academic year. Our 2020-2021 Recognition Booklet summarizes their work. Students also nominated faculty mentors from each College to be recognized for their outstanding mentorship. Profiles for each faculty honoree are included in the booklet.
Hotspot and Laptop Loan
The Office of the Dean of Students oversees the Hotspot and Laptop Loan program. Currently enrolled Cal State LA graduate students can sign up to borrow a free laptop, mobile hotspot or both.
Food Pantry
The Dean of Students also offers a food pantry where students can sign up to receive a free, pre-filled grocery bag. Students will sign up one week and will pick up the grocery backs the next. Sign-ups are available online.
