The Linux Foundation Mentorship Program is now seeking paid student applicants for Summer 2021!

With over 200+ mentees since the launch of the program in 2019, the Linux Foundation Mentorship Program offers a structured, remote learning opportunity for aspiring developers all over the world.  The purpose of the program is to help developers — many of whom are first-time open source contributors — with the necessary skills and resources to learn, experiment, and contribute effectively to open source communities.

Experienced industry experts from some of the most popular open-source projects, mentor aspiring individuals to help them become contributors to the open-source community. With hands-on experience and free access to premium Linux Foundation training, mentees can expand their open source skills to jumpstart their career by obtaining internships and job opportunities upon graduation.

Student Benefits

  • Entryway to contribute to an open-source project
  • Free access to premium Linux Foundation training
  • Remote learning and collaborative opportunities
  • Paid stipends upon completion for eligible projects*
  • Access to open source experts and prospective employers

Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions.

Thank you for your time,
