Cal State LA Kicks Off International Education Week on Monday, November 16,

All students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to attend specially-planned events to celebrate all things international next week during Cal State LA’s International Education Week (IEW), presented by the Office of International Programs and Global Engagement (IPGE). IEW is an annual opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide, and international students who enrich the Cal State LA community.

The Kick-Off to International Education Week takes place on Monday, November 16 (11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) with a welcome from Cal State LA Provost, Dr. José Luis Alvarado and IPGE Associate Vice President Dr. Harkmore Lee. They’ll talk about the significance and importance of international education at Cal State LA and globally, how international student engagement has benefited Cal State LA, as well as IPGE’s role in recruiting and fostering relationships with international students and university partners worldwide.
