The submission deadline for homework will be midnight of the day the work is done. The homework itself is due by the start of class. (CSNS provides a timestamp for when each submission is uploaded.) The submission deadline is set to midnight of the due date so that you can include comments about your class participation during the discussion of the homework that day.

For each assignment, you have two opportunities to contribute: at the start of the week when we introduce the material and when the material is presented on the due date. When you discuss your participation, don't just say that you asked a question or made a comment, include a description of your comments or questions so that when we read your self-evaluation we will be reminded of what you said.
