Why are the homework usually opened up on Wednesdays? I was thinking it would be more ideal for homework to be opened up after lectures to have more time to work on them. I believe the lab could be more beneficial for questions or just help if we've already seen the homework beforehand.

We are expected to read the book and take notes on it before lecture every week. Then we have an extra time gap between Monday and Wednesday to study for the quiz about the sections we read.
