Weekly Plan
The two sections of CS 4660 meet (a) Mon-Wed and (b) Sat. To keep them synchronized I plan to group each Saturday class with the following MW classes: the material we discuss Saturday will be the material we discuss the following Monday and Wednesday. This plan means that during the first week of school the Monday and Wednesday classes have no Saturday pairing. We will use those days for additional discussion of Python, the subject of the first assignment.

Assignments are to be completed by Friday at midnight. (The first assignment is now available on the CSNS course page.)

Weekly quizzes, which will cover material from all assignments to date, will be at the end of class Saturday and (the following) Wednesday. In particular, this means that for the Saturday class, assignments are scheduled for completion Fridays at midnight to be followed at the end of class the next day by a quiz on that and previously covered material. Be sure you are prepared with your questions each week.

I encourage you to use this forum for questions. Please don't email questions to me unless they involve personal issues. I encourage you to answer questions others have asked. I will answer questions that no one else answers fully.
