In the exercise, specifically problem 16 part a, it asks you to determine whether the relations are true based on the rules in relation V, that (x - y)/4 is an integer. One of them is (-2)V(-6). When we plug in the rule we indeed find out that the result is 1, which is an integer making the relation true. However the problem I have is that -6 isn't an element in the co-domain provided. So my question is, are we just determining whether these numbers fit the relation, or do they have to be elements in the domain and co-domain as well?

I believe its false, he did a similar example in class.  The relation is for all (x,y) is element G X H. (-2,-6) is not a element of GXH
