This is the Forum for CS 5035. I tend to use the Forum quite a lot. Be sure to read posts when you are notified about them. (If you are registered in the class, you should be notified about each new post.)

I encourage you to use the Forum to ask (and answer) questions.

To get started I'd like you to install the Haskell platform on your computers. (If you don't plan to use your computer for this class, installation is not necessary. Haskell will be installed on the computers in the classroom and in the ECST Open Access Lab. But I strongly recommend that you install Haskell on your personal computers so that you can work on it at your convenience.)

To install Haskell go to the Haskell download page and download and install the platform for the OS you use. Installation is fairly easy, but for more detailed instructions this site may be helpful.

If you plan to use your own computer, please bring it to class. We will start on some simple examples Monday. See you then.
