The EPA Environmental Research and Business Support Program is searching for a Lead Application and Database Developer with the Office of Research and Development at the EPA facility in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. The Developer will provide application development and programming support for the National Center for Computational Toxicology’s dynamic database driven applications. The job is expected to begin March 2017.  

  • Full time, $27.72/hour 
  • Must have earned a Master’s degree in chemistry, computer science/engineering, bioinformatics, biology, statistics, math, physics, information science, or a related field
  • Must have experience in application programming concepts, database fundamentals, programming languages, computer programming, teamwork, and communication
  • Will perform tasks such as creating new applications, scripts, and web components; maintaining code and script; developing Scrum software and automated tests; participating in code reviews; maintaining records and a project tracking system; and documenting development efforts
