I'm considering doing project presentations for the final instead of a programming exam. Each group will spend some time presenting their project, then discuss in depth a defining feature of their project. For example:

• Team 1: Bitcoin and integration with a Bitcoin exchange service
• Team 2: ??
• Team 4: usage of Google Maps
• Team 5: project in the real world (e.g. charging/re-funding credit card, keeping customer records etc.)
• Team 6: charts and graphs (to show member workload, project progress etc.)
• Team 7: Integration of Solr (with Tika) in a web application
• Team 8: implementation of a recommendation system
