Once an assignment is given it should not be changed many times. It is not fair to keep changing the assignment, even after it is already due. I spent more time going backwards and looking for the new changes than working on understanding the code itself. It is unfair to students who have to schedule time to do homework between many classes to be surprised with more new work when they think they are done. Can you let us know in the future when an assignment will not be changed again by putting a lock on it so those of us on schedules can begin working on it knowing that it won't be changed again?

In general I agree with you. The changes I've made a quite minimal. If you already understand the code, there is little extra you need to think about.

But if you want to use the version of the code you studied, that will be fine. The revised version tends to be a bit better -- and often simpler.
