Hackathon

Join teams of innovators and developers to compete for cash prizes totaling $15,000 by creating new applications and solutions for the Port Community IT systems.  This 24-hour competition will be held at the USC Marshall School’s newly opened Fertitta Hall.  

Participants will be required to attend the hackathon orientation on Friday afternoon, November 18 during the Supply Chain Digital Transformation: Innovating Port Community IT Systems symposium and will be invited stay for the conference reception/mixer.  The competition will be held from Saturday, Nov. 19 to Sunday, Nov. 20. 

This hackathon is organized by the USC Marshall Center for Global Supply Chain Management in partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce, and the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. There will be excellent opportunities to showcase your talents with leaders in the supply chain and port community sectors.

Teams of up to 4 participants can compete in the hackathon. The registration fee is $25 per participant.  Food and refreshments will be provided on site throughout the competition.
