The video only shows how to add a new notebook (though at the beginning of the lesson there is a method for adding a new note, he jumps from there to adding a new notebook without finishing adding a note). There are no instructions for adding a new note. No code is provided for even viewing a note. Don't worry about adding a note for now, though if you have the time and are curious, you could try to add these features (add note, add text to note, view text of note, etc.). The point of the lesson isn't to give you a working notebook app per se, but to illustrate some basic Core Data functionality.
