"(For example, if your CIN# is 12345678. Divide the CIN by 8 and the remainder is the modulus. In this example, the remainder is 6. Add 1 to get to the number 7. i.e., You will write a one paragraph on the principle #7)" So, if I divided 12345678 by 8 i'll get 1543209.75.... I don't understand how the remainder is 6. i am therefore stuck and don't know what to do. someone help please |

You have to do it manually, if you do it with a calculator it will give you a decimal. Do it manually and when nothing can be divided what is left is the modulus. |

multiply your decimal by 8 also give you the modulus (modulus is an important concept in programming so be sure to understand it :D) |
