Dr. Abbott, I understand we can request individual extensions but I think it would be beneficial to the students if you make labs due on Sunday night. I know a lot of students including myself work and have very tight schedules during the week. Personally weekends are the only time where I can study for hours without interruptions, work or class. Usually classes give a week for homework and labs. If you can please consider changing the due date, it would be greatly appreciated. I feel like I'm going to have to request an extension almost every week.

I have work/school on Wed, Thur, and Friday. I only have time to work on the homework over the weekend. Called out of work today to work on the homework assignment.

+1, I have class every day so weekends are really the only opportunity to get through these labs other than in class.

Agreed. Lab 4 only appeared on CSNS today (that I'm aware of), and it being already due tonight makes it unlikely I'll have time to work on it at all.

yes and the material is very new to me, it takes me quite a bit of time of tinkering with the syntax and logic to figure out what I'm doing, and then another bit of time to figure out what I'm supposed to do, and then another bit of time to actually do it.

Same for me I work everyday and had to call out today to do the lab.  Sunday due date would be fair.

I think a few more examples would be helpful. The last few lab qualifications seem confusing to me.

I thought I was the only one that thought the Friday deadline was asking too much, which made me think I was the only one struggling with this.

I'm at work or in class Mon-Fri. HW due on Sunday would help me out.

Everyone! We can all get an extension to this assignment. We each just have to write a report and submit it and hope that Dr. Abbott approves it. I wonder how many reports he'd end up getting though, might just be easier to extend the lab.

Just stop cheating on the quizzes and the labs won't even count as part of our grade
