The labs are being scored according to the following. This may evolve as the term progresses. X : Not submitted or not reviewed and no apparent serious effort made, e.g., has undefined symbols when run, or some functions are not defined.
Ok- : The code is not reviewed, or it doesn't run properly, but it looks like a serious effort was made. Ok : The code is reviewed, and it ran properly, but it there may be problems with the comments or format, or the output was not well designed. (If the file changes with Ctrl-i, it is automatically considered not well formatted.) Note that if a reviewer accepts code of this quality the reviewer will lose credit.
Ok+ : Everything was well done.
Note: The reviewer for code that is not Ok+ will lose credit on his/her own submission, e.g., from Ok+ to Ok.

How are these score incorporated into our Final grade? in the syllabus it doesn't list down what percentage it is worth. |

Assuming we can get reliable quiz scores, they are the primary component of the grade. The lab scores are applied in borderline and other questionable cases. Lab scores that are especially good may help even in non-borderline cases. If I am not convinced that the quiz scores are reliable, the lab scores will count more. Last edited by rabbott at
