has anyone had any luck with the large W? I formatted it the way the book did but I am not seeing any difference.

I used: main h1: first-child::first-letter {  font-size: 200%; }

Also I am having trouble with the space between the list?

Any tips would be helpful. Thank you

First-child isn't actually an element. Looking at your syntax, h1 would be in the place of first-child.
