Dr. Sun,
 
I have a few questions regarding our midterm exam:

- Is the format of the exam somewhat similar to our exercises?
- Are we taking the exam on the computer, or will it be a pencil and paper exam?
- Will it be an open book exam or closed book exam?
- Could you tell us how much of it will be a coding question?
- If enough of us agree, is there any way we could take the exam on Monday of week 5, instead of Wednesday?

I've posted a sample midterm on the class home page. Please check it out and see what the midterm would look like. As for your questions:

1. See the sample midterm.

2. It'll be half and half.

3. Open book.

4. See the sample midterm.

5. I don't see the difference, but I'm OK with either Monday or Wednesday as long as there's a good reason.
