Is there a recommended laptop best suited for computer science students? |

Generally speaking, it's easier to get software used in CS classes on Windows so I'd recommend a Windows laptop. With that said, there are also many CS students using Mac and even Linux, so just pick whichever OS you prefer (except for Chromebook). The rest of the specs will depend on your budget and how you plan to use the laptop (e.g. whether you plan to play video games on it). If you can afford it I'd recommend a Dell ultrabook; in the midrange you can probably find a good deal on some HP or Lenevo; or you can buy a cheap one and spend a little extra for some additional memory and a 128G SSD drive.
