The first time I ever saw code was when I was around 13 years old and was using VCS Cheat Device. I decided to open up some of the .txt files that contained the cheats to see what they looked like, then tried making a custom car based on what I saw. The game crashed every time I spawned it...

I first dabbled in code with my family's Commodore 64. The main loading screen allowed you to enter BASIC code and it was fun to run things that just printed stuff or looped. Next I would code "programs" on my ti-92 calculator in high school to calculate things for me in class.
