2015-2016 General Scholarships

The Center for Student Financial Aid is excited to announce that the 2015-2016 General Scholarship application is now available. The application period continues through June 12, 2015.  The scholarship review process will take place over the summer and fall with the goal of posting awards beginning in mid-fall.  

The center also wants to inform the campus community that Cal State L.A. students will now be able to apply for on-campus scholarships online via AcademicWorks at https://calstatela.academicworks.com/. 

The AcademicWorks system is a top-rated online scholarship program currently being used by over 350 colleges and universities nationwide. The purpose of this program is to better manage the scholarship experience for donors, faculty, staff, reference providers, and Cal State L.A. students. With this online application process, students only need submit one application to be considered for multiple scholarship opportunities that match their profile.

AcademicWorks Quick Launch Access via MyCSULA Portal

As part of the introduction of the 2015-2016 General Scholarship announcements, you will see a new green scholarship icon on the quick launch menu page.  Moving forward, this icon will be utilized to direct students to all scholarship opportunities available at Cal State L.A. Students must have a MyCSULA user ID/ Network Account and password to access the scholarship system.
