Set 1: 1 2 3 4 5

Set 2: 3 1 2

Set 2 would be a subset of set 1. Since set 2 is a subset, that would also make set 1 a superset. Am I understanding this correctly?

Thanks.

Yes, you got it right.

In general if set A is a subset of B, then B is a superset for A.

A: 1 2 3 4 5

B: 1 2 3 4 5

Are we doing strict subsets or can B be a subset of A in this example?

I do not think we are doing a strict subset.
