Hello everyone! I thought professor Cervantes mentioned a lab, but I don't see a link for it on CSNS, I only see the homework. Is that all we are supposed to do? Or what?

At least the instructions would've been great you know?

The homework is there, unless he doesn't want us to do the lab anymore LOL! laugh

Well that's worrisome. Only lab 3 is up on my assignments page. Are you guys in the saturday section?

I am in the Saturday class. Here are the instructions

Sorry if it's hard to read, i just copied and paste the instructions

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In this assignment you are to create a Servlet named GetImageServlet.  It should be located at:

http://cs3.calstatela.edu:8080/cs320stuXX/lab4/GetImageServlet

The servlet will display a list of hyperlinks.  The hyperlink text should be the name of your image files.  When clicked, they should link to:

http://cs3.calstatela.edu:8080/cs320stuXX/lab4/GetImageServlet?name=imageFilename.ext

Where imageFilename.ext should be replaced with the name of the file to be downloaded.

Your servlet should then open the file specified, and write the binary data to the raw output stream in the response object.  You should also set the content-disposition header to force the file to download instead of display.

Upload your working Servlet to CS3, and submit all source files, and your Assignments.html to CSNS prior to the deadline.  A non-working Servlet, or a missing or incorrect Assignments.html file will result in a loss of 50% of the overall score.
