is there a particular directory structure where our subversion repository should be located? such as cs3.calstatela.edu/cs520/w15/cs520stuXX ?

That's the URL of the repository, which is already created. You just need to import your project into it.

I thoughtlessly committed the wrong project, is there a easy way to remove a project from VC in SVN?

Also, repo path should look the screen shot below, correct?  Or does it need to include the project name as well?

1. Just delete it in the SVN Repository Exploring view.

2. Either way is fine - the difference is basically whether you want to use the repository for multiple projects or just one.
