The original instructions didn't tell you what to do if two paths have the same sum. I've added that information to the wiki.  I'm copying it here.

• Use the sums as the keys. If two paths have the same sum, use the path lengths as keys. If those two properties are the same use the paths themselves as keys, e.g., [4, 3, 5] < [4, 5, 3].
