The primary objective is that you understand the code you submit.

There is nothing wrong with talking to each other. That's to be encouraged.

You should submit your work individually. You should be prepared to explain how your submission works. It is not acceptable to say that you worked in a group and that you did one part (which you understand) and someone else did another part (which you don't understand).
