I was shocked today to realize how many students in this course are willing to lie to me. I didn't expect that level of disrespect. That's extraordinarily rude. When I ask you whether you understand something it's because I need to know what you do understand so that I can help you learn what you don't yet understand. But if you lie to me I can't help you. Also, if you lie to me you are insulting me. So please don't do that.
