I'm a freshmen majoring in computer science. I'm a little familiar with HTML codes due to being in an Exploring Computer Science class in junior year of high school. I want to apply for an internship for Google but in order to apply I have to be a sophomore. what should I do in the mean time to improve my skills? what are some ways I can learn different types of codes such as java, html etc.? Besides Getting Good grades in my classes that I'm currently taking what are some tips any one of you can give me for I can be prepared in the future?

It always helps to pick up more languages, especially ones that pertain to the field you want to end up in. If you don't have any idea what to pick up, you can always go for what's popular. There are a lot of free resources online that can help with picking up new languages like the interactive tutorials and courses at codecademy.com and udacity.com
