I was wondering about this as well. I am interested in joining one of these clubs. |

I am curious to know as well if there are any CS clubs too! It appears that several engineering clubs make themselves rather known to everyone on campus. Do the CS clubs like to stay in the crypts they call their club rooms rather than recruit? Because hey! If there is a typing club, I say let's get it on. I don't have a great word per minute count, but I can always improve. I gotta be ready for the Typing Olympics. Last edited by Ethanxo4 at

I remember the club that makes the concrete canoe, don't remember the name, does get the help of a computer science major to help them create the canoe they'll use in competitions. I can't remember how they said a computer science major helps specifically but you can always go ask them and see if you can contribute. |

There is probably a couple of clubs that only focus on CS. Google it! The main two clubs that have some CS is Baja SAE and EcoCar. The EcoCar has heavy coding becasue the conversion to the hybrid car so be prepared. Here are some clubs and information http://www.calstatela.edu/ecst/success/clubs-and-organizations. |
