Is it Department Policy to have the Course Assignments -- in their entirety -- ready for the students at the beginning of the term? Good practice for the midterm I suppose. Prof. Sun: Perhaps this is my solution to your defintion of "wait", perhaps you agree? This assignment is trivial (which is why it's called "Homework 0"). Future assignments will be significantly more complex thereby requiring much more time to grade. Pre-grading will effectively double my grading workload which I simply cannot afford. Why are the assignments/homeworks delayed / refused to be issued? They are not delayed. For the Friday section homework assignments will be made available on Friday. Everybody in the class will see the assignments at the same time after the subjects involved are discussed in the class.
