For the programming where it says

Does it mean zoom in/out using the camera or does it mean increase/decrease the size of the object?

Clarification for the task: f - Zoom the object (as Maya does). 

For 'f', Maya changes the camera to zoom onto the selected object. Use Maya and see how 'f' keystroke works.
