Hi all,

As you know Prof. Rao has a family emergency and won't be in class for the next two weeks. I'll be substituting for him.

I'd like to devote a good part of this week to project status reports.  Please prepare a report on the status of your project.  Here is a suggested outline. 

1. Overview: goals, strategy, data sets, tools
2. Progress: what you have accomplished so far
3. Plans: your plans for the rest of the term
4. Roadblocks: problems that are keeping you from moving ahead

I'll do what I can to develop material for the following week that will help you overcome difficulties you are facing.
