Week 1. Introduction to Complex Systems and introduction to NetLogo. The lectures and homework were quite easy. Week 2. Introduction to the Logistic map and chaos. This is a nice introduction to these subjects. The lectures aren't all up yet, but those that are lead one through the material quite clearly. They use NetLogo to illustrate the properties of the logistic map. This is a good way to get CSULA credit for a course you can take on your own. See further details in the announcement below. Here is the current plan for the rest of the course: from an email from the course administrator. We've modified the syllabus a bit and we're extending the course by two weeks.
