Phased Registration

In response to the enrollment cap set by the CSU system this academic year, Cal State L.A. has implemented several actions designed to provide continuing undergraduate students with the courses they need to graduate.

During Spring Quarter 2013, the University will use a different phased registration process for undergraduate registration with reduced unit loads to allow as many undergraduate students as possible to obtain the courses they need to progress toward graduation in a timely manner.  

The maximum unit load for undergraduates in Phase I will be 13 units.

In Phase II the maximum unit load will be 16 units. 

 Phase I undergraduate registration will begin on February 4.

Phase II undergraduate registration will begin on March 18.
