Last quarter we were talking about these meeting time options. (Both options are for Tuesday. That's when CS 496b is scheduled this quarter.)

MASS.IVE 9:30 - 11:30 ECOCar 10:30 - 11:30
ECOCar 4:00 - 5:00 MASS.IVE 3:10 - 5:00
(or we could start at 3:00
if no one is in 370/454)
MeshNetworks 5:00 - 6:00 MeshNetworks 5:00 - 6:00

 

Option 2 was generally preferred. However Jason can't make it to that meeting.  

Jason, is that still the case?

Option #1 works for me, but I really can't afford the time for option #2. It simply cuts too much into the work day for me. My only other class (CS440) is a mid-day class on Tuesdays, so with two hours for an afternoon meeting plus the time required to commute in rush-hour traffic, it's really an unworkable situation for me.

CS 440 meets Tuesdays and Thursday 11:40 - 1:20. What about option 3. (The following are all still Tuesday meetings.)

Option #3 is better than option #2, but it is still difficult and option #1 is best for my schedule.

I was thinking, however, and I don't know if CS440's lectures are being recorded or not, but if they are and Dr. Guo doesn't require mandatory attendence, then I could watch those lectures on my own time and then readjust my work schedule for the afternoon CS496 meetings. I suppose I'll have to wait until Tuesday to find out though.

Although this doesn't help with MASS.IVE, option 4 puts ECOCar and Mesh Networks back where they were.
