Dear Faculty and Staff, Under the direction of President Obama the federal government has taken steps to help students and recent graduates obtain employment with the federal government. A recent graduate is defined as a person who has graduated 2 years or less and a student is defined as a person who is 16 years or above attending at least half-time at an accredited college or university. In other words, there are paid internship opportunities for every major in our college. Fire Protection works in the mountains with controlled burns Aviation Administration works with the FAA and the airports Engineering, Computer Science, and Industrial Technology is placed in several technical areas throughout the federal government. The website is https://www.usajobs.gov/StudentsAndGrads Students must be a US citizen Alumni who have graduated more than 2 years ago should go to www.usajobs.gov Although a due date has not been posted, students should be encouraged to apply before 12/31/2012.
