Dear Dr. Guo,

While creating shortest path link states for each router, when we have more than two states with the same cost, how do we approach in selecting one node. In the given example in the slide lecture (lec02), could we have chosen node 'V' instead of node 'y' in step 2?  In the homework, I encountered similar situation, however I think I should choose the node that gives the shortest path. Is this ok?
