How come every time I upload a new homework or a lab it does not work, until you restart it from your end. Every time it needs to be restarted in order to work. Is it normal? or I'm doing something wrong?  

At the beginning of the quarter the following directory structure is created for each account:

\www
    \WEB-INF
        \lib
        \classes

You may create/delete/update any files and/or folders under these folders, but do not change these folders themselves - doing so may cause Tomcat to shut down your application context, which will require a server restart to turn it back on.
