An Important Change to Registration for Spring 2012!

FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS ONLY

CSULA is making every effort, under the current budget restrictions, to help students make progress towards graduation.  In order to provide all students an opportunity to register for required courses, there will be a new limit on the total number of units for which you may register for Spring 2012 courses. 

---UNDERGRADUATE REGISTRATION UNIT LIMIT FOR SPRING 2012---

1. In the first phase of registration, you were permitted to register for up to 16 units.
2. In the second phase of registration, which begins on March 5, 2012, you will be allowed to petition to register for more than 16 units.
3. If you have a compelling need to register for more than 16 units, please contact the associate dean’s office in the college of your major, for information on how you may petition to take more units.

The Schedule of Classes for Spring 2012 is available on-line (http://www.calstatela.edu/classschedule/).  I’ve included the spring calendar and registration steps for your info.

Fee Payment begins 1/30/12

Registration begins for continuing students on 2/7/12:

Graduate Students: February 7, 2012
Seniors (135+ units) and 2nd Bachelors: February 8 & 9, 2012
Juniors (90 - 134 units): February 10, 2012
Sophomores (45 - 89 units): February 13, 2012
Freshmen (0 - 44 units): February 14 & 15, 2012
