The set Z with two operations, addition and multiplication, R = <Z, +, ×>, is a commutative ring Addition , Subtraction , Multiplication , division
why is division allowed ? the set is Z , so we do not have any mod operation anymore and apparently not all elements have inverse for "X" operation . and if we divide 2 numbers like 3 / 2 = 1.5 which is not in the set Last edited by aligh1979 at
