Hello, I have a question regarding advisement. Who and where can I go to so that i can get help on choosing my classes for next quarter? Thank You

Depends on what your Major is, of course, but since I am CS major, I went to the CS Department office, and they were really nice and helpful. Even the Dean Dr. Raj Pamula sat down with me and one-on-one and discussed what classes I have taken (I was a transfer from California Community Colleges), and he wrote down the classes he recommended I take until I am scheduled to graduate. He said of course they can be modified depending on how many classes I can handle per quarter, and which electives I want to take, etc. But that's just my recommendation, ask the Department of your Major. And of course there is the General Education Office, I forget their Office location, but they said in new student Orientation that the GE office is there to help advise for GE classes. I went there and was able to get advisement on GE classes too. |
