Dr. Sun,

In questions such as #1 from the sample final, would the maximum pin count for each buffer page be 1? Is it correct that we can only have one block pinned to each buffer page at a time?

A pin count could be larger than 1. Pin count counts the number of pins, not the number of blocks in a page.

And yes, one page only hold one block.
