I was browsing through the University catalog and came across Credit by Examination. If I wanted to do that for a class, say CS 201 and/or 202, how do I go about this process?

If you already have the background to the courses, you can take a "Credit by Exam". The adviser has to ensure that you have the necessary preparation. Essentially, you will be taking a final exam and complete a final project to get the equivalent grade.
