This most likely is because your instructors have not import their class rosters into CSNS yet, so the system shows that you are not enrolled in any class this quarter.

Forum posts themselves are open to public (as they should be), so I don't think attachments should require login. With that said, I do plan to implement a more fine-grained access control scheme for files.
