A message from Fernando: Hello Mediasite Users,
One of the Mediasite servers that hosts the videos for some of the Mediasite recordings is currently down and therefore some presentations may not be viewable. We will be conducting Emergency Maintenance on the Mediasite servers tomorrow starting at 9am and no presentations (live or on-demand) will be viewable during this time. We will send an update tomorrow at 5pm (or sooner if problem is resolved earlier). All scheduled recordings will still be recorded and saved, they just won’t be viewable by students while we are doing maintenance.

Some update on the situation: Hello, The server hosting the video files is dead. We were able to move the RAID controller and hard drives over to a new server so all of the video files are safe and intact. However there seems to be a configuration error preventing certain presentations from working. I tried to fix it but was unsuccessful. Unfortunately our Mediasite expert Yin is out sick today. Yin, if you have time this weekend and are not feeling to sick can you try logging in remotely to fix the problems otherwise it will have to wait until Monday. Priority is getting Albert Cervantes CS320 links to work. Sorry for the inconvenience and please allow your students extra time due to these technical difficulties. One more: Hello, I did some more checking and it looks like the Mediasite system is working now except for 1 presentation for Albert Cervantes. If any of you have Mediasite video links that are not working please let us know.
