Extra credit Query

As per my observation if we provide an <input type="file"....> it will also allow user to copy paste any other url in the same as well as browse for a file & upload it. So is that fine if only <input type="file"..> option is provided while blog creation or else we need to give different text field for entering the URL.?

I think your observation is wrong. I tried with both Firefox 3 and IE8, and neither of them allowed copy&paste URL into a file <input> box. So you must provide different <input> fields for URL and file upload.
